Sofia
In October Sofia will host the Transeuropa festival for the third consecutive year. The festival will be happening simultaneously in Sofia, London, Paris, Bologna, Belgrade, Cluj-Napoca, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bratislava, Barcelona, Lublin, Prague and Warsaw, under the common slogan IMAGINE – DEMAND – ENACT.
The Festival will present screenings and debates about migrants in Bulgaria and asylum-seeking, and will reflect in interactive ways the focuses of the year-long protests going on in 2012/2013. Also, the festival will feature an exhibition of “emotionally charged objects” as means of narrating personal stories of LGBT people in Bulgaria in an attempt to politicize the personal sexual identitiy.
